Padstow Harbour day is organised to raise money for the RNLI Padstow Lifeboat. On three days in 2017 the lifeboat will motor round from the Padstow Lifeboat station at Mother Ivey’s Bay, Trevose Head to moor up at South Quay Padstow (subject to call outs). There you’ll get a chance to see the lifeboat up close and meet the crew. RNLI souvenirs and gifts will be on sale.
The lifeboat will also be in the harbour on Padstow Lifeboat Day on 19 August 2017. This event is different in that it usually includes a demonstration of a sea rescue by a rescue helicopter and an inshore inflatable lifeboat.
