Dog friendly beaches North Cornwall – Rock, Daymer Bay and Padstow
Rock beach, Daymer Bay beach and Padstow beach are dog friendly all year round. No dogs are allowed on Polzeath beach in the holiday season from Easter to September. Dogs are allowed on the coast path and Padstow ferry.
Rock beach is dog friendly all year round and dogs are allowed on the Black Tor ferry to Padstow. The ferryman may charge £1 return for your dog on the Padstow ferry.
Polzeath beach does not allow dogs in the holiday season from Easter to September but dogs are allowed at Polzeath beach at other times.
Padstow beach allows dogs all year.
Daymer Bay beach is dog friendly all year.
The South West Costal Path is dog friendly for the entire route. It’s wise to keep your dog under control and you’ll find some tips on the South West Coast Path website. The walk along the coast path from Rock to Polzeath is a great walk for dogs. At low tide, you can even walk along both Rock and Daymer Bay beaches.
Glen Valley Cottage is a dog friendly holiday cottage in Cornwall. We just ask that dogs are kept downstairs and off the furniture. To allow for extra cleaning we make a small charge for each dog.
