 The Maltsters Arms, Chapel Amble

The 17th century Maltsters Arms is a country pub and restaurant in the nearby village of Chapel Amble, 8 minutes drive away. Some exposed stone walls, oak beams and slate flagstones set the atmosphere. Beer is from the St Austell and Sharps breweries, including the famous Doom Bar. It’s dog and child friendly.

The Mariners, Rock

The Mariners pub and restaurant is on the main road into Rock, 8 minutes drive from Glen Valley holiday cottage. Managed by Sharp’s Brewery and Nathan Outlaw, they serve a range of locally sourced pub food. Of course Sharp’s Doom Bar beer is on tap. An outside seating area that overlooks the Camel Estuary.
