Visit the 45th Cornwall Folk Festival

Over the August bank holiday weekend, The Cornwall Folk Festival 2017 brings together established and new folk artists from across the country and the world. Wadebridge’s streets, pubs, cafes and the town hall will be filled with live music and entertainment.

Artists include Figurehead, Cara Dillon, Dosca, The Grenaways, Phillip Henry and Hanna Martin, Dougie Maclean, Cocos Lovers, Dalla, 3 Daft Monkeys and Hop ‘Op ‘Ops.

Formerly known as the Wadebridge Folk Festival, The Cornwall Folk Festival is now in it’s 45th year. The 2017 event features afternoon and evening indoor concerts, a fringe tent for local South West talent plus workshops, a craft fair and children’s entertainment. Find out more.

Try Local Cider

Local farmer, folk enthusiast and festival supporter, Tom Bray, will be encouraging everyone to sample his ‘real Cornish’ cider made at Haywood Farm, St. Mabyn, Bodmin. If you can’t wait until August to try some, the farm, just 4 miles from Wadebridge, is open to visitors and boasts orchard tours and it’s own programme of folk events throughout the year. More here.
