Help release baby lobsters and go rock pooling with the Padstow Lobster Hatchery team – 29 April 2017

Your kids are bound to love this baby lobster and beach experience with the Padstow Lobster Hatchery team. They’ll meet baby lobsters and release them into the wild and go rock pooling and seashore foraging.

They’ll even learn what seaweeds can be eaten and try some, with guidance from special guest Megan Adams, a foraging expert from forest school and outdoor education company, Wild Thymes.

The baby lobster event takes place at Trevone Bay, Padstow on Saturday 29th April 2017 from 1pm.

Advance booking is essential and can be done online at the Padstow Lobster Hatchery website here.

Prices are £5 child, £10 adult, £25 family (2 adults & 2 children).

The National Lobster Hatchery is a charity that helps conserve lobster populations through a breeding programme and carries out important research and conservation work. They have a visitor centre in Padstow, right next to the main Padstow car park, that is open every day from 10am, except on Christmas day. Find out more about the Padstow Lobster Hatchery here.
