What’s on at Rock Oyster Festival:
Now in it’s 7th year the Rock Oyster Festival is a mix of great live music and fabulous food, including oysters of course.
There’s also fairground rides, market stalls, catering stalls, kids entertainment, performing arts and a farmers market.
The campsite has separate family and late night revellers areas, looking out over the estuary.
Rock Oyster Festival venue:
This year sees a move of venue to a Camel riverside location at Roskear Farm, St Breock, Wadebridge PL27 7HU, on the Padstow side of the estuary.

Showhawk Duo – Guitarists Jake Wright and Mikhail Asanovic play their own captivating style from trance to funk
Black Kat Boppers – rockin, roots music with a guitar, double bass & stand up drums
Andy Quick – Singer songwriter tells stories through his lyrics
The Electric Swing Circus – 20’s swing meets stomping electro beats with vocals by Laura O and Vicki Olivia
Backbeat SoundSystem – Eight musicians pumping out UK reggae
The Flamenco Thief – Andy Sutton mixes gypsy-jazz, rumba, flamenco and ska
Echo Town – Brothers Richard and Robert Harrison with a mix of instruments including lap-slide guitar, djembe, didgeridoo and harmonica
The White Feather Collective – describe themselves as a ‘psychedelic, four man, surf-rock band’
Charity support:
Each year the Cornish Oyster Festival supports a local charity. In 2017 it’s Polzeath Surf Life Saving Club. Life Saving is a popular sport in Cornwall and the Polzeath Surf Life Saving Club trains participants from as young as 7 years old in this valuable skill for life.
