St Merryn, Cornwall, Beer and Mussel Festival – 17 – 19 March 2017

Each year The Cornish Arms pub in the village of St Merryn, Cornwall, hosts its Beer and Mussel Festival. Over the weekend of 17 to 19 March 2017 they’ll have 40 different beers and ciders to try plus many different mussel dishes. Recipes are those of the well known chef and restaurateur, Rick Stien, who took over the Cornish Arms in 2009 and who’s famous fish restaurant is in nearby Padstow.

Lots of entertainment is planned over the 3 days. The RBS Six Nations Rugby will be on a big screen and there’s a full programme of live music, cookery demonstrations and a pub quiz. The festivities start at 7pm on the Friday night with music from Mango Tiger and Taz Djay.
